"Blackjack" was released on June 18,  1979, on Polygram Records.
The band included Michael Bolton on vocals, Bruce Kulick (later of KISS) on guitar,
Sandy Gennaro on drums, and Jimmy Haslip on bass.

Blackjack, the group, came together in the fall of 1978, and split up around the fall of 1980.
"Blackjack" and "World's Apart" were combined and rereleased in 1990 as a double-length album called "Blackjack".
Singles included Love Me Tonight.
